Red, oval-shaped box with five fitted sections stacked vertically--a purple cord tied at the base of the box is threaded through two channels on either side, holding the five parts together. The purple cord extends above the top of the box, with the two ends tied together and held in place with a cylindrical green ojime and an amber-like netsuke. Designs featuring insects and flowers are lacquered and inlaid, predominantly in gold and black on the box's exterior; the interior is speckled red-orange and gold. Amber-like netsuke has two black insects painted on it.

Metal disc with a lobed edge, oblong cut-out in the centre and raised designs on both sides. One side has a man in a cape carrying a bow and arrow, while the other side has two dogs sitting under a hay stack playing with an insect; parts of the designs are gilt.
