Birch bark basket bent and laced into place. A twig splint ringing the rim is overcast, with wide stitches for reinforcement--seven blue opaque glass beads are laced onto the rim. The white side of the bark faces outwards, with a strip of brown bark running underneath the rim as reinforcement.

Sides: total imbrication. imbricated pattern: geometric black figure with red inner band all against bullrush ground; two on each side, one on each end; bottom row completely in red cherry.
