Washi sample mounted on white, labelled and folded paper with 3-pointed leaf above scrolled 'm' watermark. Sample is vertical rows of two alternating motifs: blue, slightly scalloped medallions with greenish tinge in shape of crossing diagonals and squares with alternating orange brown and black streaks radiating out from centre. Blue edges are hard, other colours softened by bleeding together. Interlocking triangle crease pattern over surface is visible.

Sample is yellow brown circular and rectangular shapes alternating with light brown rectangles in two sizes arranged in rows on the vertical and horizontal. Remaining space is white brown and edges softened by colours bleeding into one another. Square crease pattern visible.
