Neck RingA4280

Thick woven neck ring consisting of red-dyed cedar bark twisted and braided. Tassels of varying lengths of red string are sewn onto the ring in four places. Ring is oval in shape. There is eagle down intertwined in the weaving.

Wooden wolf headdress, or mask, adorned with a cedar bark fringe at the top back, and the mask has an elongated snout with pronounced nostrils as well as protruding rounded ears at the top of the head. Made from two pieces of wood joined by nailing. The mask is painted black with grey lines delineating the eyebrows, eye sockets, nostrils, and upper lip. The mask is also painted with green around the eyes, red design elements below the eyes, red and grey designs inside the ears, red nostrils and lips, and grey teeth.

Mask painted white with painted black hair and thick eyebrows as well as a moustache with curled ends. The nostrils and upper lip are painted red, and there is a red scalloped design at the sides of the face. The eyes are circular holes with an eye shape outlined in black, and there is cedar bark as well as black horse hair attached at the top of the head as well as horse hair attached below the nose and on the chin.

Mountain sheep horn spoon with wide bowl and long, triangular handle. The edges of the handle are cut in near the end and continue to a narrow squared end. There is a hole in the end of the handle. Suture marks are visible across the bowl of the spoon. The spoon is an opaque amber colour with dark brown striations, especially on the back of the spoon.

A hollow, bottle-shaped, brown wood horn that is rounded square in cross section with a neck tapering to a beak-like mouthpiece. Bound with white twine and brown twine in two sections, the former being around near the smaller end while the latter being around near the wider end. The letter 'P' is carved on one side near the wider end.

Brown wood whistle that is rectangular in cross section and comes to a tapering end and is bound in three places with white twine, one near each end and one near the middle. While the wider end is solid, there is a hollow through the tapering end where there is a taper cut rectangular hole nearby on one side. Seams are sealed with pitch.
