Base - one band (five rows wide) with every other warp strand in purple. Sides - central band; every other warp strand is purple for eight warp strands then every other stitch (staggered) is purple for eight warp strands. Gives the effect of two staggered rows of alternating squares of checks and stripes. Lid has same design as base.

Cylindrical basket of twined weave with some skipped stitch (twill) overlay in grass (dyed). Horizontal bands with dyed weft strands woven in and skipped stitch over in green and maroon.

Beaded leather belt with three wide strips attached at the front; a large central piece with a rounded tip flanked by two shorter, rectangular pieces. Both rectangular strips have a beaded fringe (one is largely missing); central strip has a double string of large, spherical blue and black beads strung on a leather thong attached to its tip. Beadwork on belt consists of a pink background with geometric designs in blue, brown, and aubergine. Beads sewn on hide; beaded fringe is of clear beads.
