The inside is painted completely; bottom of base and rim are unpainted. Patterned consists of alternating lines and dots. The lid (part b) has a tall, cylindrical shaped handle with a flat opening filled with sediments. The lid is not painted inside but the outside is decorated with a dotted rim and a pattern of lines on the centre.
