Figure2820/1

Standing female figure with short legs, long torso, and ahead that tapers to a point at the top back. The figure has a protruding belly button, square chin, and smaller nose. Its neck is the same width as its chin and has four small bumps and a raised ring around its middle. The breasts of the figure are decorated with lines formed from raised diamond shapes. The legs are bulbous, coming in at the knee from both the calf and the thigh. The front of both feet appear to be missing.

Cow Dance Figure2803/1

Cow-shaped wooden carving with a solid wooden base between the four feet. The cow hasa pair of carved water birds on its back, painted white, and green glass eyes. There are two (goat?) horns attached to its head. Foam has been nailed around the wooden base and a thick cotton rope is looped between the legs to form straps for wearing it. The carving is painted black and has white markings and words painted over it, with spashes of bright blue paint. '2007' is painted on the back right leg; 'No1' is painted below each eye.

Dance Costume Pants2792/2 b

Pants that are part of a costume with shirt (2792/2 a) and mask (2792/1). The heavy dark brown wool pants have large belt loops, a 4-button fly, and panels down each side that are decorated with sequins and cording of gold, red, and blue outlining fabric flowers and stems. The leg cuffs are lined on the inside with pink fabric.

Dance Costume Shirt2792/2 a

Shirt that is part of a costume with pants (2792/2 b) and mask (2792/1). Heavy dark brown bolero-style wool jacket is decorated with a border of continuous blue cording around gold and silver sequins, and with several large sequin and cording-outlined fabric flowers with leaves on stems of bright yellow cording. Bunches of long red and blue strands of wool form ties down the front, a fringe of the same hangs from the waist at the back, and a shorter gold thread fringe is attached along the waist at the front.

Mask2792/1

Dance mask worn with dance costume (2792/2 a-b). The carved wood male face has life-like features that include glass brown eyes, long upper eyelashes of blonde hair, and painted flesh tone skin, gold teeth, curly gold hair and sideburns, mustache, eyebrows and lower eyelashes. There is a slit opening at the mouth and several holes have been drilled through the surface; the two nostrils, two at the bridge of the nose, one at the top of each ear and one at the top of the head.
