Small, square shaped multi-coloured tortilla cloth with vertical stripes, fringed ends and an embroidered center design. The design consists of orange, yellow and red stripes intermixed with bands of blue. The central motif has an embroidered stylized x-pattern in between a checkered band in green, pink, yellow, purple, black, orange and red.

Backstrap LoomSa449 a-g

A loom (parts a-g) with an unfinished woven wool textile consisting of burgundy, orange, blue, pink, green and yellow 8-forms on a burgundy and white striped ground. The textile is attached to two large, cylindrical shaped wooden sticks (part a); one at each end. Intertwine in the multi-coloured warp is a cylindrical shaped heddle covered in white twine (part c); a flat, rectangular batten with triangular, pointed ends (part d); two shed rolls (parts e-f) and a permanent bar (part g). Part b is a rectangular shaped, brown woven backstrape with brown and green twine ties at each end.
