Naturalistic brass representation of a deer in slender, delicate style. Small brass flat balls encased by 2 narrow strips of brass wire on each side to form entire open brass work surface on deer's back. Underside composed of crisscrossing brass wires forming open fretwork design. Legs and very thin antlers are solid. Face is humourously depicted with bulging eyes, deep nostrils and an open mouth.

A small leather pouch ( part a) with a lunate metal blade fixed to along the lower edge. Flap is ornamented with incised metal bands and brass-coloured bosses. Coral stone is set in the centre. A ring is fixed by a brass plate to the upper edge. Twisted woolen cord attached. Both a white quartz stone (part b) and an orange flint (part c) reside in the pouch pocket.

A brown leather jacket (part a) fits over a folded cotton pin-cushion (part b) which opens to reveal a pocket to store needles. A large steel neddle, and strip of wool are inside. The cushion is covered in red-dyed cotton, and bound at the bottom in a leather piece which has two metal eyes, and a leather pull-tab. Braided cord strap.

Three-dimensional male human figure; large head and jointed arms attached to controlling rods. Head with straight, pointed nose positioned forward; cream-coloured face, white eyes with black pupils, and red lips. Features very delicate, and outlined in black: small black moustache and beard. Wide red crown (mahkota) headdress with green, gold, white, and red diadem, karawista, and Garuda Mungkur. Black hair, curled with gold highlights. Upper torso and neck coloured black. Black chest covering and apron with white wavy trim; also sequins and twisted wire decorations. Apron has waistband and yellow fringe at bottom. Beige, brown, and purple coloured batik skirt (kain). Arms have a pair of red and green ornaments at wrists and biceps. Hands are held flat and bent back at wrists.

Hard black material of interior core is distinctly visible through open circular fretwork on underside of belly and throat. 4 raised rosette designs, 1 on each flank. Coiled wire pattern on back. Low relief brass fringe embellishes upper foreface and neck.

Rectangular skirt of plain weave cotton with raw ends. Purple ground with bands of designs in white, black, yellow, orange, green and blue running the width of one half of the piece and with fourteen small blue diamonds widely spaced on the other half. Design motif includes: star-like shapes; band of peacocks?; yaks with loads; horses with loads.
