Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: head with purple dyed plant fibre for hair (part b) fits into body clothed in multicoloured shirt and pants (part a). The body has jointed arms and legs. The figure is clothed in a beaded v-neck shirt with long pink sleeves and loose fitting pants with cinched waist and ankles; shirt is tucked into a black and gold beaded belt. Figure's face is painted yellow with black eyebrows, eyes, protruding ears, a red mouth and a fibrous black moustache; figure wears a head wrap made from pink, green and grey floral fabric. Both hands are open, with painted pink skin and white nails. Feet are shod in wooden slippers with curled toes. Puppet is attached to thin white cords tied to wooden sticks.

Three-dimensional female humanoid puppet (Tamil dancer character): head with headdress (part b) fits into body clothed in a skirt and shirt (part a). The body has jointed arms and legs. Headdress is black with geometric shapes of silver foil paper pressed onto the surface; blue and grey gauzy material is gathered at the front of the headdress and trails from the back. The figure is clothed in a midriff-baring black vest with pink sleeves; silver metallic material covers the breasts and forms a sort of neck ruff. The skirt is a full- length, multicoloured garment with a purple v-shaped panel and three circular appliqués made form silver metallic material at the front. Figure's face is a rosy pink colour with red lips, black eyebrows, a black bindi and a black beauty mark on the chin; figure wears dangling earrings of white beads and silver foil. Hair is purple dyed plant fibre tied into a long braid at the back. The index finger and thumb on both hands are joined in a circle and attached to the trailing ends of the gauzy material cascading from the back of the headdress. Feet are bare with white toenails. Puppet is attached to thin black cords tied to wooden sticks.

Multicoloured papier-mache mask of a human face with elongated earlobes, circular floral earrings, an eye-like protrusion on the forehead, and an elaborate, jeweled headdress; face is white with orange lips, ears and nostrils. Headdress has multicoloured jewels set against a brown and yellow striped background. Eyeholes are located in the pupils. White cord looped at back.

Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part b) fits into body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part c) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. The figure's face is glossy pink with black moustache, sideburns and caste mark. White eyeballs with black pupils; four gold teeth exposed. Yellow neck; black backswept hair outlined in gold. Light pink, green, red, and gold crowns; same colours repeated in elaborate headdress which rises at back to a form resembling a bird with a lolling green tongue. Upper row of jagged teeth . Figure wears black jacket, pink upright collar, edged with red on front; wide green band around waist, narrow red belt. Jacket sleeves have inserts above the cuffs decorated with red braid. Red cord at back of neck forming epaulettes. Orange shoulder sash; white vest, small yellow piece of fabric at neck line. Long batik skirt, coloured cream, brown and black. Hands yellow.

Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part c) fits into gold painted body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part d) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached, and the figure's right arm (part b) has become detached. The figure has a dark pink face, a blunt nose; white eyes have dark red pupils. White protruding upper teeth with fang at each corner of mouth; black hairy moustache, painted beard. Headdress consists of black cap, blue-striped scarf around forehead, gold triangular sumping (ear ornament) behind ear and grey Garuda (mythical bird) above grey fringe of curls. Torso painted gold and covered with black velvet cloth. A black velvet apron is sewn to the waist with red glass beads in sun ray design and a band of woven gold thread and ribbon at waist. The figure is wearing a beige cotton with brown geometric batik design. Red and white carved bracelets at upper arms and wrists; hands upturned.

Three-dimensional female humanoid puppet: head with yellow beaded and sequined headdress (part b) fits into body with bodice and skirt (part a). The body has jointed arms and legs. Hair is dark blue dyed twine. The head is decorated with an orange lace ribbon at the ahirline, and a purply-pink lace floral design ribbon running from forehead to headdress. Red ribbon frill at neck. Bodice is yellow with beaded and sequined design and metallic gold and silver ribbon across chest. Sleeves are multicoloured sythetic material puffed at shoulders and gathered at elbows. The same material forms an underskirt with a semi-transparent black overskirt that has blue and silver embroidered flowers. The figure is also wearing a purple, orange, yellow and off-white floral print shawl, which she holds in each hand.

His hair is blue dyed plant fibre, knotted at the top of his head, and his moustache is the same material dyed purple-blue. The figure's right hand is clasped, and his left hand has the index and middle finger extended, with the rest folded.

Three-dimensional female humanoid puppet (Servant girl character): head (part b) fits into body clothed in a shirt and skirt (part a). The body has jointed arms and legs. The shirt is made of off-white fabric with a brown and dark blue cross pattern on the bodice, and sleeves that have the same pattern on the bottom half and a band of smaller dark blue crescents with slightly larger brown crescents on the top half. The skirt has a floral pattern in orange, red, pink, off-white and black. Dyed purple-grey plant fibre represents hair. The figure's right hand is clasped, and the left hand is flat.
