Tapered cylindrical handle with geometric designs on the lower half consisting of the main longitudinal compressed zig zags with a horizontal row of double notches all around at the upper end near the middle of the handle. Carved melon-shaped head that has seven large protrusions all around and a large boss on the end.

Tapering, dark brown wooden staff with an elaborate, geometrically designed finial with yellow-white, opalescent inlay on both sides.

The flat rectangular piece of wood is painted with ochre pigment. One end of the wood is covered in brown-black resin. At one time there was probably a blade secured to the resin.

Twenty three teeth are woven tightly together with fibre at one end to join the handle in an hour-glass-like shape. Handle is decorated with geometric designs of red and yellow on a back ground. The upper portion of the handle has a design that consists of a pair vertical bands of yellow zig zags on a red background. The lower portion of the handle has a design that consists of a diamond pattern.

A long cylindrical brown reed tube with a pod attached to one end. Dark brown geometric designs including a sun is painted on the tube. Three holes are cut into the tube. Reed is placed into reed tube at the mouthpiece.

The woven mat is rectangular with a diagonal striped pattern. The mat has diagonal stripes of white, yellow and brown outlined in red. The white and yellow stripes are woven with a diamond design in the centre of the mat and checkered with brown around the edges. A brown border outlines the centre section. The edges of the mat are bound with a white blanket stitch. The back of the mat is woven with natural coloured materials and unpainted.
