Rectangular shape shield with a carved human figure sitting on the top holding a cylindrical shaped object to his face. The shield is carved in relief with geometric design painted with black pigment. The recesses of the shapes are painted dark orange with the surrounded areas painted white. The sides of the shield are decorated with bunches of fibre strips tied through to the opposite side. There is a large carved handle and a black and orange painted diamond design at the back of the shield.

Dark brown elliptically shaped bowl with pointed ends and steep sides. Carved along the rim on both sides is a standing humanoid figure with outstretched arms flanked by two spear-like objects.

Small, dark brown wooden object with a rounded, dome-shaped base supporting a crescent moon-shaped bowl. The bowl has a high, flat bottom. The base has a slit-like hole through its centre.

PotIe478 a-b

Clay pot (part a) with a grass ring stand (part b). The pot has a long narrow bottom with a bulbous middle that tapers into the neck that has a flared rim opening. On the side of the neck is a face decoration in relief with inset eyes surrounded by large, protruding cheek-like structures. Around the head is band of small ovals; below is a band of large, outlined ovals with many small ovals in the middle. The pot is covered in ochre while the face has traces of black pigment. The fibre ring (part b) consists of numerous pieces wrapped and knotted on the outside edge.

Large bark cloth mask with a circular face, two protruding flat horns, a large protruding mouth and a cylindrical shaped neck. The forehead has a stylized painted design in brown and red on a natural ground. The eyes are large, detailed with brown and red circles while the nose and neck are decorated with red and black triangles. The back of the head detailed with black and red concentric circles. The mask is made in the form of a crocodile. The frame made of bent and tied wood. The side has I, RD; K-PUX written in black.
