Sea Goddess Held by BirdNa1563

On the left a sea goddess held upside down in the beak of a bird in profile to the right. A small bird sits on the tail of the goddess. Pencil inscription along the bottom reads; "Sea goddess held by bird sealskin stencil 16/50 Cape Dorset N.W.T. Pudlo" stamped with names of artist and printmaker in Inuit syllabics in monogram form with Cape Dorset stylized igloo in red and black in upper corner. The print is hinged to white mat board.
