Miniature mortar and pestle. The mortar (part a) is cylindrical, and roughly carved in three sections from a single piece of wood. Base is slightly rounded. Top rim is flat with rough edges. Pestle (part b) is carved from a single piece of wood, is long with two ends, and has a central cylinder. Centre is wide then narrows to thicker knob-like ends.
Miniature village scene representing three figures. Two females are wearing skirts, one of which has a child on her back, and both of which are holding long wooden pestles, and have wooden mortars in front of them. These two women stand on one platform. A third figure is reclining on a separate platform nailed to the main base with this figure holding a child. Figures are all made with copper wire then wrapped into the shape with grasses, and nailed onto plain rectangular base.
Small ball made from cane fibre, and grasses wrapped together with a harder fibre. Tied, and knotted.
Narrow miniature gong drum (part a) with handle, and a drumstick ( part b). Rectangular gong (part a) is carved from a single piece of wood with the lower corners curving inward. The top has a long rectangular hollowed out section. Inverted u-shaped cane handle is nailed to each end. Roughly adzed overall. The gong has 'Lukumbi' written in ink on one side. Drumstick (part b) is carved from a single piece of wood, and is thick with a rounded striking end. Stick has 'Mombo' written in ink on handle.
Miniature bedstead (part a) of seven long flat half reeds. Nine horizontal round sticks hold the top of the reeds with bamboo strips in four places (coiled). Four sticks form sides, of which the bed rests on three, resulting in a slant, the direction of which slant is determined by which leg it is resting on. Mat (part b) rests on the bed. Mat plait is twilled with wrapped, and coiled borders.
Miniature circular fish net with willow reed around the border for support tied on with loose widely spaced coiling of single-strip rattan. Two knots near centre.
Cylindrical torch with a bees wax, and grain compound wrapped with light green-white straw, and grass bound together with a single strip of bamboo in twined large ties. The end comes to a point opposite the working end.
Miniature winnowing basket. Shallow, and round. Twilled, and plaited in light yellow, and brown cane fibres with a hoop under the rim (in and out). Border is plain wrapped with light yellow-white plant fibre. Wrapped hook on one side with a cane strip, round, and stiff, with tie.
Small doll consisting of pink cotton cloth for a head and upper body; the bottom is wrapped in green cloth with white leaves and red flowers used for a dress.
Large wire toy car (part a) with 4 doors which open, and sprung wheels. The car slopes where the wire is missing. It is tied in various places with copper wire. Body wire is silver, painted blue, and worn off in places. Wheel axles are twp metal rods. The wheels are rubber with two bottle caps on the back ones. A piece of wire lays on the back, loose, with both ends bent. Front axles work. A long stick (part b) with a wire hook wrapped with copper wire, and black rubber are attached to the steering wheel with wire dividing it into four quarters while copper wires hold it together. The wheels are apart at one side. Two pieces stick out from copper wire on the stick which has blue paint marks.
