String Puppet2886/4

String puppet with a decorated yellow hat that has a high centre point and ear-area embellishments. Facial features are painted on, as are finger, toes, and some wrinkles on the neck. The puppet wears a long red tunic with a yellow belt at the waist and a matching neck ornament, both made out of paper. Matching pants cover the legs, and both pants and tunic are edged with gold. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head, thighs and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee.

String Puppet2886/3

The skin is painted white and the facial features, fingers and toes are painted on, as are some wrinkles on the neck. The puppet wears a long red tunic that opens at the front and is belted with a yellow paper belt. A matching yellow paper ornament hangs around the neck. Gold edging decorates the cuffs and front opening. Below the tunic is a pink sarong attached above the waist, also decorated with gold down the front. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee.

The facial features, fingers and toes are painted on, as are some wrinkles on the neck. The puppet wears a long red tunic that opens at the front and is lined on the front edges with gold. Under this he wears a pink sarong attached above the waist, and decorated with gold on the front. The feet are bare, as are the hands. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head, and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee.

The puppet wears a long red tunic with edges trimmed in gold, overtop of a pink sarong, also decorated with gold. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee. The head has become detached from the body and is only connected to the puppet by the strings.

The puppet wears a long red tunic that opens at the front and matching red pants. The cuffs of tunic and pants are edged in gold, as is the opening of the shirt. The puppet is controlled by strings attached to the upper back, sides of the head, thighs and hands. The arms are moveable at shoulders and elbow, and the legs at the hip and knee. A short stick is attached to the string of the left hand.
