Unfinished Hat1593/22

Rectangular shaped unfinished woven wool hat with alternating figured stripes of birds, house, flowers and geometric shapes in cream with blue and green detailing on a red ground. Defining the sections is a horizontal blue stripe. Intertwined in the incomplete top are five, long metal knitting needles.

Large silver pin cover with red, orange, yellow, green, blue, white, pink and red beads. Hanging from the bottom are four strands covered in rainbow coloured beads each ending with a large bead (three silver, one pink) followed by a Peruvian coin. One strand has a gold coloured phone trinket attached. The coins have an emblem on the front with ‘Banco Central Dereserva Del Peru’ written along the edge. The back of the coin has ‘UN’ in the centre with ‘solde oro’ on the back.

Hat1593/17

Conical shaped, red and white knitted stocking cap with a thick red tassel accented with brilliant colours. The lower half has a red background and is divided into five bands with small scale patterns. Three bands have an eight petal shape joined by stepped lines. Two bands have discrete geometric and figurative designs. The upper section is cream and tapers to a point. The yarn is very smooth and the stitches very fine. The patterns are cream with orange, pink, blue, green, yellow and navy detailing.

Long, thin, rectangular woven strap consisting of white geometric shapes with a green stripe running through the middle, on a red ground. The alternate side has red geometric shapes with central green detailing on a white ground. The sides are bordered with a thin purple stripe. One end has a small braided loop.

Rectangular shaped bag with red and white braided wool strap and edging along with four red tassels hanging from the bottom. The bag has repeated blue and green stripes with cream geometric patterns of triangles, circles and line, all on a red ground. There is a slit opening at the top.
