Rectangular wall hanging woven with commercial sheep's wool, dyed with natural dyes. The design varies from end to end, with dark straight lines, diagonal stripes, and a 'flying goose' pattern; in colours of grey, brown and yellow-green on an off-white ground. One end has a series of open wool loops, while the other has a long fringe. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back.

Rectangular wall hanging with a basic structure of discontinuous weft twining. The weft is one-ply hand spun wool with a long knotted fringe on one end and loops from the warp on the other end. The warp is commercial off-white wool and forms a fringe at one end and a series of loops at the other end. The design consists of two vertical grey zigzags running vertically and two joined dark brown triangles at one corner, all on a grey-brown ground. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back.

Rectangular wall hanging with a basic structure of discontinuous weft twining. The ground is grey with grey-yellow and grey-brown. There are four vertical rows of arrows and diamonds. The pattern consists of two arrows with a diamond in centre then two other arrows, and there are three such patterns in each row in different colours. The one-ply handspun weft has a looped finish on one end and over-hand knots on the other. The warp is five-ply machine-made wool.

Rectangular wall hanging in plain weave with design in discontinuous weft. The weft is lightly spun and the warp is machine spun. The design consists of four horizontal abstract swallows with outstretched wings represented by chevron shapes with yellow tops and dark brown bottoms, and the swallow design is on an off-white ground. The wall hanging has an interlooped finish on one of the longer sides with overhand loops on the opposite side. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back.

Small rectangular weaving with decorative panel down centre; left and right sides of hanging bordered with white bands. Panel has alternating stripes in white and light pink; cream lines in between each set of stripes. Sets of two small triangles in centres of stripes; triangles in white stripes pointing down, triangles in pink pointing upward. Large dark brown triangles point inward from either side of stripes. Rectangular wall hanging woven with wool, and dyed. The pattern is repeating overlapped triangles in olive green and dark pink-red down the centre. There is a band of red within the olive green, and a band of olive green within the red. Flanking the centre design are wide off-white zigzags. On the right side is a small band of dark brown-grey and small band of light grey within the off-white section. The sides follow the zigzag design on the inside edge, in dark red and grey mottled wool. One end has a series of small open loops of off-white wool with a small section of pink, and the opposite end has long fringe in off-white wool with a small section of pink. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back. The colours have faded on the front of the textile.

Wall Hanging3598/1

Rectangular wall hanging woven with wool, and dyed. The pattern is divided into two sections, each with seven columns of three diamonds. The columns have a mirrored colour pattern, from outside to centre - olive green, dark brown, light brown and off-white at centre. Above each section is a light brown zigzag from one side to the other, the lower zigzag is also outlined in dark brown, with off-white and green zigzags above and below it. The brown zigzag has a white line through it, and the green zigzag has a light brown line through it. Below the upper section is a thick horizontal band of off-white and light grey. Below the bottom section is a dotted line of grey (blue on reverse) and faded pink (dark red-pink on reverse), with horizontal repeating green triangles below. One end has a series of large open loops of off-white wool. Blue 'Salish Weaving' tag sewn to back. The colours have faded on the front of the textile.
