We Lived By Animals1749/39

Two humans in profile facing inward at either side of four animals standing in profile facing to the right side. Above, there are three birds, one fish, and implements. The humans are black, white, and grey. From left to right, the animals are the following colours: a black musk ox ?, a brown deer or caribou ?, and two black on white striped animals. From left to right, the birds are the following colours: yellow head and body with white wings, white with black syllabics, and orange and green surrounded by black and white. The turquoise fish is vertically orientated with the head down. The implements are black and white. The inner upper portion of the background is light blue surrounded by orange with red markings overall that are part of the design. In the lower right corner, there is a small yellow image of a right pointing arrow emerging from a bulge pointing to pencilled syllabic. Pencil inscription in the lower right corner reads 'We Lived By Animals 36/42 1975'. In the lower right corner, there is a circular embossing. The print is on a horizontally rectangular, light white paper piece. Print is hinged onto black matboard.

Printed image has seventeen black and white human faces and/or heads both looking away from each other and towards each other. One face in the centre is looking out and is surrounded by four pairs of profile faces at either side of a yellow 'box'. Faces are surrounded in primary blocks of colour including green, red, blue, and yellow. Four corners of print, each has a striped colour. Yellow artist/print maker's symbol in right hand corner. In the lower right corner, there is a small yellow image of a right pointing arrow emerging from a bulge pointing to pencilled syllabic. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads 'Happy People 34/35 1977 S. Tookoome, P. Segova'. The print is on horizontally rectangular white paper.

Dog Spirit1749/32

A crayon or pastel(?) drawing, that fills the paper, of a red-brown dog with two human feet and two animal feet. There are seven profile light blue and dark blue human head beings super imposed on the dog's body, six of which are looking forward while one is looking toward the tail end. Pink mountains(?) in background. Dog is walking toward the left side on a pink and white striped path. The drawing is on horizontally rectangular black paper, hinged onto foamcore.

The World of Men and the World of Animals Come Together in the Shaman1749/24

Frontal figure sitting with split legs and wing-like arms upswept. The yellow frontal face has an orange and a red profile human head facing one another within at either side with all faces sharing an open mouth with teeth. The chest area is brown with a darker brown diamond shape at the centre. Both wing-like arms have profile black and white heads of animals and humans, but the figure’s right one is orange while the figure’s left one is yellow. While the figure’s right foot is human, its left foot has a three-digit animal feature. In the lower right corner, there is a small yellow image of a right pointing arrow emerging from a bulge pointing to pencilled syllabic. Pencil inscription across the bottom edge reads ‘The World of Men and the World of Animals Come Together in the Shaman 4/50 1973 Tookoome’. In the lower right corner, there is a circular embossing.
