Hand-woven cotton belt decorated with a geometric design. The pattern consists of diamond shapes of different sizes divided by rows of plain bands of colours. A long fringe of twisted red cotton thread is left on each end. At one end this fringe has been partly broken away. Colours are red, yellow, black, red and orange.
Reversible rectangular mat with woven designs. The mat has an overall diamond motif in purple and natural. One side is predominantly purple, the other is predominantly natural. There are thin green bands running through the diamond motifs. There are double purple borders on the long sides of the mat.
Seated clay figure of man in ceremonial costume. Well-modeled form exhibits prominent facial features, mustache, forehead markings. Elaborate head-piece has serpent-like ornamentation flowing from high crown down both sides to elbows. Ornaments at chest and ears; floral emblem on shoulders and at centre waist. Perforations in right hand, skull. Box shaped base.
Small clay figure of female. Vase like construction of body with feet breasts, nipples, arms appliqued. Head is well-shaped with prominent facial characteristics of forehead markings and knotted hair. Necklaces, earrings, arm bands and belt are appliqued. Perforations at top of head and on shoulders.
Small woven korai grass mat of superfine regular weave. Widthwise bands of maroon, black and natural at ends of mat. Undyed, natural-coloured centre.
Utility bag of printed mill cotton with self-covered hand straps. Made of sturdy undyed mill cloth, design printed in red. One side has a seated anthro-zoomorphic figure with head of elephant and body of man with four arms, each holding distinctive object. Mouse in front of figure. Lettering in an Indian script. On the reverse side is a seated human figure in ceremonial dress with four arms, one of which holds a spear. Peacock at the figure's left side. English inscription: 'Chithra Bag Works Madras-7.'
The shorts have blue band around each leg and around waist. The back is is decorated with yellow and blue starburst patterns. Zigzag trim in fine white braid around each leg and three rows of fine braid also encircles the waist. The front has a starburst pattern and a stylized design in blue, white and gold applique and white and black braid. The waist has a drawstring.

Bands alternate with three embroidered motifs, in green, blue, and red. Similar design in green and black on handles. Lined with mill cloth; machine sewn on the two sides. Opening bound with black weave.
Black leather stylized representation of a figure in a dramatic dance pose, one leg stands on a snake-like creature while the other is raised to the waist.
