Dish3099/37 a-d

Set of four light green stoneware stacking dishes (parts a-d). Set consists of three plates with slightly angled walls, and one bowl with more angled walls. Dishes increase in size from the bowl on top to the widest plate on the bottom. Maker's mark stamped on base of all four plates.

Dish3099/5 a-c

Set of three tenmoku stoneware dishes (parts a-d). The two deep plates, one larger then the other, have high walls with four dips spaced around the edges. The small round bowl has angled walls and two curved handles. All three are mainly black with ragged brown rims. Maker's mark stamped on base of all three plates.

Large purple and green stoneware vessel. Angled rectangular base meets a hollow oval top with a small triangular opening at the rim. Purple strip along the base, with green above. A black line with a faded black circle extends in from the side of the base. On the top oval are one black and two purple wedge shapes. The purple triangles join at their points with a black line extending down to the base. On the back are two more purple triangles with a black line ending in a triangle. A black semi-circle dips into the right triangle. Maker's mark stamped on back near base.

Sun Spot3099/43

Pale blue and white hourglass shaped stoneware vessel, with open cavity on top. Base is a squat semi-circle under a larger round body that extends out the back. Large red suns, fuzzy around the edges, are placed on the front and back of the body. The front sun is a perfect circle, while the back is an oval. Over both suns is a large white band running around the rim. Maker's mark stamped on back near base.

Large yellow pail shaped stoneware sculpture. Top is a squat circle with a square opening and a black line carved down the centre. Bottom part resembles a rounded pail, with a wide thin top and a round narrow bottom. Base is a pointed oval. A carved black line runs down the middle of the back. Maker's stamp on back near base.

Orange stoneware vessel with raised yellow streaks. Formed from two half ovals connected on the dome side and leaning towards each other at the back. Larger top oval is hollow with wide mouth. Graphic Archetype 23099/40 a-d

Four piece stoneware set using geometric shapes to reflect architectural forms. The leftmost piece is pointed with a round cut in one side and a flat oval base. The next piece is a semi-circle with a flat triangular base. The third piece is a tall semi-circle with a flat oval base. The last piece is a short semi-circle with a flattened side and flat oval base. Painted openings on the tops of each piece reference containers. Painted lines, circles, and ovals complete the decorations. Maker's mark stamped on base of all four pieces.
