Rectangular coiled basket (with bifurcated stitches), slat construction at base. Cedar root used in slat form and wrapped with grass. Faded cherry bark in red and blue squares in two alternating rows around middle of basket. Basket is mishapen.

Simple coiled work (bifurcated stitches), parallel splint base construction. Two rows of looped work are on the side of the basket with a two strand looped work rim. Design also has x-shaped beading in black and red. Black beading just below the rim. Handle is overcast.
