There are white dashes all over the bird, largely representing feathers. The bird is bending over a brown nest depicted in bird's eye view that holds 5 eggs. A Cape Dorset stamp in red and black is in the top right hand corner. The title, print number, artist name and date are written underneath the image in pencil.
