Print showing a night scene with two street food vendor buildings. There is also a tree with a small dog beside it; two people sit on stools at one shop, partially hidden; a woman is visible at the other shop. An umbrella rests on the ground. Main colours are brown, grey and yellow with red and blue. There is an artist signature (冨吉郎作) in black at the lower left corner, with the Japanese date (Showa 26) and the name of the carver. The paper mount is stamped "Made in Japan".

A cover (part b) with carved motifs of the sun and moon slides directly over lantern to block out excess light. Lantern: ecru-coloured paper and red lacquer with a black base. Cover: black lacquer. Label reads "Made in Japan."
