Each compartment is leaf-shaped and has a peacock resting on the centre top. The box has six arched legs with leaf-shaped feet, each held on by a nail.

There are two rings on the right side, possibly used for decorative attachments now missing. The ears broken off. Brown and red residue covers the entire surface. Flower projections from each shoulder. Pendant leg resting on flower pad projecting from from unsealed base. Beneath right leg on base is a small bronze patch.

Backed with copper sheet having an incised four-pointed floral-like pattern at the centre. Polychrome cord attached by a wire loop through a hole in the back at the top.

Leaf motifs and geometric incising on bell dome. Free-swinging bronze bead and chain within form clapper.
