From card: :Two sections of wood joined at front and center representing the two side of the head of some monster. Back of it a flap of strips of cedar bark and feathers; resembling art of Haida. Portions broken off. The mask is marked Haida as well as Neah Bay. Appears closer to the Nootka and Kwakiutl type rather than Haida."

Crossroads caption identifies as "Early in the 19th century Tlingit weavers began to make dancing robes completely covered with formline patterns derived from their painted art. The figures represented were crest animals, but they were often so conventionalized that their identity is not clear.
