Bracelet3326/50

Circular ivory bangle bracelet with rounded sides. The upper edge tapers in while the bottom edge is flat. Just below the upper edge, decorated with three rows of small holes inset with tiny metal studs. The inside has a dark brown patina.

Face Bell3326/44

Small hand bell with a small flat-headed humanoid figure as a handle. The bell gradually widens to the rim, which has a single decorative belt. The body is decorated with two simple human faces, each facing opposite directions. The body clearly shows how the bell was formed with a very apparent seam. The metal clapper is composed of a series of three different metal loops attached to one another - the second appearing to be a more recent addition.

Headdress3326/12

Headdress carved from a single piece of wood. The wood has been stained black, with the carved areas revealing a light brown. The base is dome-shaped, and is carved with rows of zigzags around the exterior. A high arched crest extends from the top, slightly extending beyond the dome, with a cutout upside-down V-shape, leaving a triangle underneath. The crest is decorated with carved geometric designs: repeating V's, lines, triangles, crosshatching and X's.

Textile3305/6

Long rectangular textile with alternating bands of supplementary weft designs and straight weaving. Multi-coloured fringe on left and right edges. Right side bordered with indigo and pink thread braided together. Left side bordered with red and orange thread braided together. Top edge of textile has dark yellow band with repeating pattern of dark green star-like shapes. Band trimmed with burgundy and dark yellow stripes on top and indigo, light blue, white, pink and burgundy stripes below. Underneath that is another dark yellow band with repeating pattern of magenta star-like shapes. Bands below those, with the same stripe trim, alternate between the two coloured patterns until bottom four bands of textile. Four bottom bands, instead of star-like shapes, have infinity signs woven in alternating dark green and magenta. Bottom edge of textile has dark green stripe.

Skirt3367/1

Skirt composed of hanging strands of flax stalks from a woven fibre waistband. The stalks have a pattern alternating between beaten and unbeaten portions, forming a horizontal striped pattern where the unbeaten stalks are a light yellow colour, and the beaten segments are a burnt, dark brown colour. The woven waistband features diamond and triangle designs in light and dark brown. The stalks hang from a woven waistband made of braided plant fibre.

Model Canoe3274/72 a-i

Model inter-island sailing canoe, with single-hull outrigger. Main hull is carved of a single piece of wood with attached forked end pieces at fore and aft. Hull is panted black with areas near top decoratively left unpainted. Several benches span the interior of the vessel. Detailed wood rigging with intricate, twisted cordage attaches main boat to outrigger float. A woven triangular sail is suspended between two posts, with a third attached by cordage, and can be balanced upright above the main hull. A large plant fibre tassel hangs from the top point. Part b is a 'canoe lee platform' meant to hang off the opposite side from the outrigger. Parts c-d are very small removable benches that fit into spaces at the fore and aft of the main hull. Part e is a rudder; parts f-g are leaf-shaped blade model paddles; part h is a model steering paddle; part i is a smaller model paddle with a leaf-shaped blade (its wood matches that of the platform).

The puppet depicts an uneven blue and red building with a blue, red and orange door with a brown overhang above and a lantern hanging. Next to the house is a pointy green plant. The maker's name is written across the red section.

Small shadow puppet, Laz, representing a man from the Black Sea region. Made of semi-transparent animal skin and a watery paint or dye, soaked into the skin. The puppet body and legs are separate pieces, tied together with a thin plastic cord through small holes. The figure is a male, wearing long orange pants, with an orange and green tunic, dark teal hat, and black boots. He holds his hands out in front of his body. He has a solid black mustache. The main hole for the stick (to manipulate the puppet) is in his upper arm. The maker's name is written along the back of hand.
