Off-center circular pontil mark on base. Two side seam molds extend up through finish. Dried substance present on inside. Two cracks in finish, small bubbles present in body. Five fragments of a clear glass medical bottle with round base profile and large-mouth external thread finish. Largest fragment labeled 45KI765/M-33a, with smaller fragments labeled alphabetially b-e in order of largest to smallest. Empressed Maker's Mark: VASELINE CHESEEBROUGH NEW YORK Dark brown accretions on exterior. L. Penttila 3/15/2010 Objects delivered to Burke Museum partially intact with clear adhesive tape holding them together. The tape was removed by Julie Dougherty, Burke Museum on 08/17/2010 to prevent further damage.
