GuitarNi64

Small roughly shaped guitar has rectangular head. Five pegs on underside extend through to top, with peg in each corner and at centre. Ends of three horsehair and two metal strings are wrapped around pegs, opposite ends are wrapped and tied around the bridge which is glued to the lower body. Four twisted palm fibre cords are wrapped and knotted around fingerboard. Fingerboard is glued and nailed to neck. Sound hole in centre of body. One strip of wood is bent to form sides, glued to top and bottom of body. Red and blue yarn looped and knotted around fingerboard next to head. Three pompoms attached to top centre of head by braided cord.

Red gathered skirt with a colourful striped waistband and lime green cording on the lower edge. Placket opening at the waist with extensions of waistband as tie closures. One pleat, parallel to hem extends around the skirt. Inside of lower edge is faced with off-white fabric.

Belt woven with colour blocks arranged in a series of graduated hues ranging from light to dark and including the entire colour spectrum. Two separate colour series alternate on one face in blocks about 4 cm wide. One end is finished with a braided fringe. Attached to both ends by yarns are loosely woven narrow ties. The ties are red, white and black.

Wide red belt with three lengthwise patterned stripes. Outer bands are stepped triangle shapes with white squares, center motif are white squares around green rectangles. Purple stripes flank center band, and also run along edges. One end of band terminates in fourteen braids which are looped on a green cord knotted to a narrow woven band. Woven ties has pink diagonal stripes on white.

Long belt with lengthwise stripes in multiple colours and a central design band with white animal, fish, bird, flower and building motif,s on a dark red and green background. One end terminates in ten braids which are looped together by a separate cord and attached to another cord tie. The other end of the belt has similar cords attached to the selvedge. Two narrow white stripes on multi-colour striped bands at edges.

Belt with a pattern formed by a series of graduated hues ranging from light to dark and including the entire colour spectrum. Two separate colour series alternate in blocks. A single chevron band in orange, green, grey and white runs lengthwise along the centre of the belt. One end is finished with a fringe of 28 braids. Attached to both ends by red cords are narrow bands with a repeating pattern similar to the main belt.

Wool sling consisting of an orange, purple, green, yellow and red braid with five tassels spaced along the length and a centrally positioned pouch. The pouch is composed of four woven strips which have a stitched netting between them. One end has a braided finger loop.

Wide red belt with white figurative and geometric motifs is sewn at one end to a stiff, thick belt cross-striped in light and dark shades of natural wool. The non-sewn end of the red belt terminates in 36 braids which are grouped together by a cord knotted to a very narrow woven tie with geometric patterns. Another doubled cord is attached to the non-sewn end of the stiff belt. The red belt has five lengthwise design bands. In the centre, the widest band has naturalistic images of horses, cows, birds and a house alternating with more geometric motifs, principally a six-part circle. Narrow bands flanking the central stripe repeat an eye shape on both sides of zigzag. Pattern bands near the edges have many small motifs, mostly geometric.

Belt with three bands of geometric and figurative motifs in off-white, dark red and green on a red ground. Motifs of birds, a cow, a house and geometric figures decorate the central band. Sewn at one end to a stiff thick belt irregularly cross-striped in light and dark shades of natural wool. The opposite end of the red belt is finished with 18 braids which are grouped together by a cord knotted to a very narrow woven tie with geometric patterns. A similar cord and tie is attached to the non-sewn end of the stiff belt section.

Red belt, firmly woven, with five parallel patterned bands. The centre band is the widest, with geometric shapes, bird, fish, boat, and building motifs in red and green, on white ground. Middle band is flanked by two narrow strips of white squares on alternating red and green sections. The narrow bands near the edges have small scale geometric shapes and bird motifs, in red and green, on white ground. One end has short braided looped fringe, which have a wooden stick slipped through the end loops. The other end has a single re-plied cord looped into the fabric at the centre of the design panel.
