Belt with lengthwise bands containing geometric and figurative motifs. The central stripe is the widest and most elaborate containing 30 motifs of squares, diamonds, crosses, circles and birds worked in white against a background of purple and green. The flanking stripes are arranged symmetrically. The stripes nearest the edges are composed of white squares against a green and purple background. One end of the belt is finished with a braided fringe and yarn cords are attached at each end.

Belt with white design motifs arranged in lengthwise stripes. A variety of geometric and figurative motifs occur in the central stripe which is flanked by purple, pink and green stripes. A white zigzag and lozenge motif is repeated near both outside edges and green and white dotted stripes are placed between the zigzag stripes and the central stripe. The remainder of the belt is red. One end terminates in 10 narrow braids, and a re-twisted cord is attached to each end of the belt.

Coxcomb Dancing HatSf1014

A semi-circular hat composed of two similar pieces stitched together along the curved edge. Red feathers with the points cut off are inserted between the semi-circles of dark blue bayeta. An orange, braided tape is appliqued to both sides and attached as chin ties to the centre of each side. Three red, blue, green, and orange yarn tassels are attached by braided cords to each end of the semi-circular hat.

Woven belt with three bands of chevrons and graduated colour stripes in red, white, yellow, blue and green. The center band is pink and red stripes along pink chevrons, with smaller green chevrons at center. One end has braided fringe. Multiple ends or red yarn ar attached at both ends as ties.

Belt with dark red and black lengthwise stripes on a light grey-brown background. In the centre is a series of black toothed lines flanked by solid black lines. To each side is a smaller series of red toothed lines and along the weft selvedges are solid black lines. One end of the belt is finished withe a fringe of braids, which are joined together by three loops of cord and are then tied to a single cord. Another cord is attached in three places to the selvedge at the other end and a long, single strand of this cord extends as a tie.

Skirt made of red fabric and gathered at the waist with brilliant yellow piping at the hem and a multicoloured striped band for a waistband. There is an opening at the top of one seam with ties extending from the waistband. Two horizontal pleats 18 cm above the hem.

An unfinished length of braided cordage made of flattened sun-bleached grass. One end of the sample is folded and the other is a spray of loose ends. Grass is brittle.

A long narrow band with a succession of tiny motifs composed of circles, spiked diamonds, crosses and reverse curves. Butterflies, birds and plants also appear. The white patterns on a green and red background are inverted on the other fabric face. The band is bordered with a dark purple strip. One end of the band is finished with a braid.
