Long boat-shaped wooden piece (c) that is hollowed out in the middle and has a hole at either end on the inside rim. Several strands of fibre hang from two wooden rods and are attached to a long stick with fibre cording (d).
Weft comb (a) is made of four pieces that are fitted together as a frame and are tied with cord. The teeth in the centre of the wooden frame appear to be made of split bamboo. Braided fibre cording is attached to each end of the frame and is secured with knots. The bobbin (b) is boat-shaped and dug out in the centre. Missing shaft and reel.
Twelve carved wooden figures sitting on an oval platform at a tribal council meeting. A woman holding a piece of paper, with a baby slung on her back is leaning towards the chief figure, who is wearing a headdress. The other figures are either each holding what appears to be a rattle, or clapping their hands. The figures are stained and painted. Inscription on bottom of platform.
Carved wooden neck rest with two-lobed base, two arching vertical supports, and a roughly rectangular top that curves slightly downwards towards the centre and has a band of zigzag pattern carved into each end. Underneath each end of the rectangular segment is a curved extension. The bottoms of the curved extensions, the ends of the top segment, and the arching vertical supports are all burnt ? to a dark brown finish.
Carved wooden neck rest with oval base that flares inwards to a curved segment with three cylindrical supports emerging from the top, and these join to the roughly rectangular top surface, which curves downward at the centre. Two rectangular elements extend down from the ends of the top segment, and each is decorated with two horizontal bands of zigzags.
Instrument with seven metal prongs attached at an angle on a concavely curved wooden closed sound box; carved with "Nindakule". A slightly curving row of four holes near the middle and three more holes in a triangular formation at the end opposite the metal tongues (keys). A row of three holes at the end near the triangular formation with three curved points at the other end near the metal prongs. On the wood, there is a metal loop at either sides of the metal prongs.
Thin brown smooth-backed wood piece. Narrow rectangular wood platform has on top ten metal tongues (keys), placed lengthwise to the wood piece and held in place by a lateral bar wrapped in metal strips that are inserted into the wood piece through to the back. Large hole in the middle of the wood piece. Two carved geometric designs on the wood base. The main design consists of two horizontal rows of four squares with opposing diagonal lines, creating two x-shapes over eight squares in total surrounded by a double rectangular outline. The other design consists of three horizontal upraised lines surrounded by a rectangular outline.
