Three-dimensional male humanoid puppet: large head (part c) fits into gold painted body with skirt (part a), and a control rod (part d) with a long shaft passes through the body and fits into the neck of the figure's head. The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached, and the figure's right arm (part b) has become detached. The figure has a dark pink face, a blunt nose; white eyes have dark red pupils. White protruding upper teeth with fang at each corner of mouth; black hairy moustache, painted beard. Headdress consists of black cap, blue-striped scarf around forehead, gold triangular sumping (ear ornament) behind ear and grey Garuda (mythical bird) above grey fringe of curls. Torso painted gold and covered with black velvet cloth. A black velvet apron is sewn to the waist with red glass beads in sun ray design and a band of woven gold thread and ribbon at waist. The figure is wearing a beige cotton with brown geometric batik design. Red and white carved bracelets at upper arms and wrists; hands upturned.

Small, spherical, hollowed out brown gourd with a small hole at the top with a stalk-shaped bundle of copper wire tucked into it. The gourd is shallowly carved with a stylized, all over plant and abstract linear design, revealing several shades of brown.

Full length figure with wide skirt-like costume and a headdress which comes down each side of the face with a triangular-like shape. Arms are folded and resting in the middle with hands holding each other at the waist line. Dull dark green.

A thick cylindrical piece of wood carved with a Jaguar head carved on both ends (part a). Striking stick (part b) has smooth surface and is slightly curved.

Noblewoman (part a) of Heian Period. She has an elaborate coiffure with four bright flowers and silver ornaments as her hair is tied up in a fan-like bun at the top. She is holding a long red fan (part b) trimmed with gold in her right hand. Her dress is adorned with long ribbons and ties. Label reads "Japan". Standing on a flat tree trunk for a base.

Warrior dressed in elaborate armoured suit. Colours are basically orange, gold and black. He is carrying a sword in his right hand. Standing on a flat tree trunk for a base.

Male figure, sitting on a red seat, all gilded except for black eyes, mouth and hair. Two horns protrude from his head. Figure has a stern expression and a raised fist. Inscription on bottom reads "Shen Nung (?)."

Curved, stick-like mace with a large, flat head; carved from mottled brown and grey mutton fat jade. Handle and head are carved with peaches, persimmons and flowers. Circular British Antique Dealers Association tag on bottom of mace. Part b is a flat, rectangular rosewood stand with two support posts holding the mace horizontally; tag on bottom identifies "Bluett & Sons, London."

Red dot at centre of forehead, red lips. Head bending forward. Metal cylinder at base of neck. Headdress consists of green and gold painted jamang, sumping and lungsen. Clothing consists of close-fitting jacket of black cloth on torso and green corduroy sleeves, diagonal beaded band of black and floral patterned material on chest with multicoloured glass beads, red and multicoloured floral waist band, and brown and black batik patterned skirt. Hands held flat with all fingers held together and gold paint residue. Hand at figure's left is straight, hand at figure's right curves outward slightly.
