Three-dimensional male humanoid figure (part a); large head (part b) and jointed arms attached to controlling rods. One single rod is pointed (part c). White face positioned downwards, with very straight pointed nose, red lips, white teeth. Hair, facial details, eyes outlined in black. Upswept curl (gelung supit urang) headdress in black, with gold diadem and lungsen defining frontal area. Large gold sumping on curl. Red and green decorations. Gold neck; black upper torso and arms, each with green, white, red and orange ornaments at wrist and bicep. Hands held flat and bent back at wrist. Black chest covering and apron with white wavy trim, and wrapped wire and sequins decorations patterned as a cross. Apron has black waistband and long yellow fringe at bottom. Long batik skirt in beige, blue, red, lavender, and orange.

Three-dimensional male humanoid figure (part a); large head (part b) and jointed arms attached to controlling rods. There is a single controlling rod that is pointed (part c). There is an oval-shaped cloth piece with green sequences and brown scalloped edging around it (part d). Red bib-like red cloth Green face (positioned downwards) with wedge shaped nose, bulging white eyes with red irises, red lips and exposed white teeth. Hair, sideburns, moustache, facial detail in black. Note lack of tear shaped detail on cheek. Large headdress in green, gold, red, grey, and black: large rear-facing Garuda Mungkur (short-tongued) with siyung jawi, two badong, long sumping and diadem. Neck and torso gold: body corpulent with large chest and belly. Gold and red arm ornaments at wrist and bicep of each arm. Hands held flat and bent back at wrist. Red chest covering and apron with brown wavy trim, cross shaped pattern in sequins and beads. Apron has red waistband and yellow fringe at bottom. Large batik skirt in beige, purple, and blue.

The body has jointed arms, each with a long controlling rod attached. Pink face positioned slightly downwards; small eyes, hair, moustache, beard, facial details in black. Pointed, slightly curved nose; dark pink lips, exposed white teeth. Large red crown (mahkota) with tiered diadem (jamang), karawista and badong in gold. Green Garuda Mungkur (short tongued) with black Tali Garuda, and single black hair curl (kendit). Black neck and upper torso; two green and red ornaments on each arm, at wrist and bicep. Hands held flat and bent back at wrist. Red chest covering and apron with brown wavy trim, beads and sequins. Apron has red waistband and long yellow fringe at bottom. Long batik skirt in red, blue and beige.

White face positioned downwards; small white eyes, straight pointed nose. Pupils, hair, moustache, facial details in black. Large black curl (gelung supit urang) headdress with diadem (jamang) and Garuda Mungkur; long, textured hair in seven locks with gold highlights. Gold neck and torso; arms have red, white, and green ornaments at wrists and biceps. Right arm detached at shoulder. Hands held flat and bent back at wrist. Purple triangular chest covering and rectangular apron with black waistband. Garments have white wavy trim, sequins and twisted wire decoration. Apron has yellow frills at bottom. Long batik skirt in orange, blue, lavender, and red.

Small mask with fine features and articulated jaw. Hair is in the form of a black crest. Two cone-shaped protrusions rise on either side of the crest; those in front are red, those in back are black. A long, raised scarification mark on the centre forehead ends between thin black eyebrows. Eyes are narrow slits. Small rounded ears are separated from eyes by two black raised disks with raised horizontal rectangles in between. Lips are painted black. Jaw is joined to upper section with bark(?) threaded through holes behind eyes and the top of the jaw. Perforations are made in hair crest, black cones and behind ears. Mask is patinated.

Maiden Spirit MaskAf337

Mmwo helmet mask. Carved from a single piece of wood, the mask depicts a female face with a large ornate coiffure. A circular crescent, around a concentric circular plaque, rests on top of the head. Portions of the crest and parts of the hair are painted purple, also inside the nostrils. Black scarification marks spiral on the cheeks and are crosshatched on the forehead and the temples. Four loops of scarification drop from black painted lips. Eyes are small and narrow. Eyebrows have curly black hair glued on. A neckpiece of yellow, red, black, and white felt with purple and natural cotton is attached to the back by metal hooks.

Standing wood figure (ibeji) with black, disc-shaped, beaded waistband (discs of horn?). Head is capped with a conical headdress. Cap is decorated with two sets of vertical ridges and the back with four. Nine scarification marks radiate from and point downward from the navel. Extended arms have hands touching thighs. Has very short legs in relation to body and the feet are extremely large. Stands on circular pedestal. Body and base is heavily encrusted with red earth, and cap has traces of indigo. Has worn camwood patina.

A black glass bead bracelet hangs from the figure's left wrist. Backbone is indicated by deep incised line in centre of back. Has short legs and large feet. Stands on a plain circular pedestal. Grooves on figure are filled with red earth and in hair are traces of indigo.
