Ginning machine, made of several types of hardwood; light to dark brown; frame (part a) with two interlocking, carved worm gears (parts c and d) turned by crank handle, secured in place with a peg to the gear, all held in place by two (parts e and f) blocks and one wedge (part g). The base is held upright by a hardwood support bar (part b), which is inserted in a hole in the base of the frame.

Carved wood stool covered in dark brown stain. The base and the seat are rectangular with two legs in between. Incised in the edges of the rectangles is a band of repeating squares. Projecting out to the side is a human head with its head up and its neck stretched long. The face has incised lips and nose with cut cowrie shells inlaid for eyes.

Wood carving of a pregnant women. Hand on each side of the abdomen. Slightly flexed knees. Peaked hair extending from the forehead to the back of the neck. Nose and broad ears are protruding. Spine is grooved. Abdomen is melon-shaped. Feet extend beyond the ankles at the sides and the back. Stain thinly applied and worn off in places.
