Model paddle with a painted abstract design in yellow and red on a black background and delineated by incised lines. The blade tip comes to a rounded point, and the narrow neck joins the blade and the flaring handle shaft.
A plain brown wood spoon with a shallow bowl that has a distinct flat rim and comes to a pointed tip at the end and a narrow handle that is at an angle. The handle is flat along the interior and rounded around the exterior.
Dark brown, black in colour, canoe-shaped wooden dish with adze marks on both inner and outer surfaces. Three rows of incised lines follow the outer rim. Vertical adze marks run across the interior surface from one end of the bowl to the other while the sides have horizontal marks. Small holes drilled near the upper centre of each end, and the top of one side.
Miniature rectangular shaped dish carved out of a thick plank of wood. The centre has been hollowed out, the ends are angled with concave impressions. The exterior has a slightly bevelled surface below the proximal edge. Painted with red, black and gold designs on the exterior surfaces. An animal face resembling a beaver, is present at each of the ends, while stylized bird-like designs are centred on each of the longer sides. The gold paint is used primarily as an accent colour. The artist signed the base, in red paint: "Made by Stanley James, Nanaimo B.C."
Wooden D-adze painted green. Blade has been made from a file. Leading end flared to a slightly-curved sharp edge. Bound onto wooden handle with a rawhide and leather thong bindings. Handle has shaving-deflecting upturned ridge at front and heavy grip. Decorated with curving parallel incised lines at back. Was painted green - partly worn off.

Hook composed of spruce root carved and steamed into a u shape. One arm end carved with a tapering knob (fragment of twisted cedar bark leader line attached). Other arm end recurved inward and sharpened to a point. Point section lashed with cedar root. Some cedar bark strips also wrapped around the root.
