The spoon is painted with a design in red, green, and black with a red and green border, and the underside is painted red, blue and black over low-relief carving. The handle shaft is painted black , and the head is painted with red, black and green hair, black eyebrows, a red and black design on the forehead, red nostrils and lips, black over the cheeks, and green on the rest of the face.

Has a design consisting of a central light blue paint band surrounded by a hand-grip of burgundy-coloured velvet coloured material with a wide blue paint band at either side, each of which has a thin red paint band to border it. Shellacked or varnished. A single notch in each end for a bowstring.
