CalendarM5.15

Calendrical device carved from a long piece of wood with a rectangular body that is notched at regular intervals along the edges of both sides to indicate the days of the week (deep notches indicate Sundays) along one edge and weeks only along the opposite edge. The calendar is incised with symbols representing special happenings on certain days. The handle has a triangular finial, a heart motif cut out of the centre, and rounded sides that taper to a narrower neck.
