Elaborately carved rectangular wooden panel depicting three birds landing on a blossoming cherry tree; carvings are three-dimensional, bordered by a thick frame, and incorporate expanses of open space. Colours are faded but traces of white and brown are predominant.

The border is dark red lacquer with inset cartouches, each with painted birds and flowers on a coloured background (alternating between bright red, dark red, and dark grey-blue).

Seal (a) and impression (b). The seal (a) is rounded at one end and rectangular at the other, and has a design consisting of a wavy line over two joined loops (one vertical and one horizontal) with a horizontal bar below and has a small looped handle in the middle of the back. The impression is stamped into a rectangular clay slab.

Wooden, circular tambourine with a skin ? cover and five sections of metal discs. The wooden frame is inlaid with square, diagonal and triangular pieces of mother-of-pearl and horn to form a geometric pattern. The metal discs are all similar with the exception of one set that has jagged edges.

Dark brown bamboo chopstick box (part a) and sliding panel lid (part b). Plain natural colour chopsticks (part c and d) taper to a point at one end. One chopstick (part d) has a small piece of ripped masking tape on the squared off end. One end of the box (part a) is white plastic.
