Incense BurnerN1.290 a-c

A three-legged incense burner (part a) having the shape of a bowl. The two handles on the burner (part a) has stylized dragon decoration on two sides with a loose ring on each. The three legs of the burner (part a) has t'ao-tieh figures. The stained wood lid (part b) is stepped and rounded with a ball knob at top centre and a notch cut out at each side to accomodate the handles of the burner (part a). The stained wood stand (part b) is triangular in shape and has a curled design. Dark brown colour.

A rectangular seal block with a large lion and two cubs to its right on top. There is a ball inside the large lion's mouth. Inscribed with a quotation from the artist on the sides. Brown with light streaks. Seal is on the bottom with the characters in relief.

Seal carved from one piece of ivory with a square base. Carved with five-clawed dragons. Clouds surround the dragons. All are carved into the upper portion of the seal in the recessed areas of the carving. Six Chinese characters, 乾隆御覽之寶 (Qianlong yulan zhi bao; treasure admired by his Majesty the Qianlong Emperor) carved into the underside of the base.

Three pink quartz transparent stones set on carved wooden scepter (part a). The rose-coloured stones are carved in form of peach branches and fruit in high relief. One stone is a large wide rectangular shape, another is a long thin rectangular shape, and the other is an oval shape. The scepter curves convexly in the middle and concavely at the ends, with the top end curving around and over. A pair of semi-circles forming a circle are inset at the centre of a carved double y-shaped design near the concave edges. There is a wood stand (part b).

An amber-coloured snuff bottle (part a) that has streaks of orange, and that has a t'ao-t'ieh holding a ring carved on each shoulder. There is a stopper (part b) that is clear green. The wood stand (part c) has the shape of an oval, and has four legs.
