A painted wood face mask with a sloping forehead joined to a protruding nose that has yellow nostrils that are red inside. The cut out circular eyes are black in a tapering white oval surrounded by a green area. The red lips are full and flat and are surrounded by a yellow area. The face is black with a yellow halo-like feature around the head that has five segments along the top.

Ceremonial SwordA6165

Ceremonial fool dancer sword. Painted on both sides with long, flat, upward and backward curving fin-like projection, a rounded angular head, and a handle that is square in cross section. The black eyes are circle in circle surrounded by a tapering oval and a green area with black brows above. The nostrils are red. The open black mouth shows ten red upper teeth. The fin-like projection has an inverted red u form that has a vertical white ovoid within and white space in between, an inverted white and red u form, a horizontal white outlined red ovoid, and a black split u with white space in between at the tip.

Raven RattleA4126

Brown wood rattle with the top piece in the form of a raven that has a reclining figure on its back connected to a frog by a protruding tongue and the bottom piece in the shape of a rounded semi-oval emphasized with a whale design. Handle is bound with green. Raven has black ovoid in ovoid eyes surrounded by a tapering oval and a green area with black brows above. The beak is black with an open red mouth holding a red ball. The back has vertical black dashes with black wings that have a green ovoid in a black ovoid, a red and green split u within a black split u that has a black ovoid within, a green and red split u, and a red ovoid at the tip. The tail is in reverse with four feathers that have an inverted black split u coming from a downward pointing green triangle connected to the back that has a small bird's face with circular black eyes surrounded by a plain tapering oval and a green area, red nostrils, a red mouth, and a pair of inverted green split u's and horizontal red dashes below along with two green wrists that have five red claws. The reclining human on top has a red body and a plain face with circular black eyes surrounded by a plain tapering oval and a green area with black brows above, a red nose, and a red mouth where the red tongue of the green frog connects. The bottom piece that is the belly of the raven has a face with green eyes at the bottom with green and red split u's at along either side and red dots and dashes within and around a green shape that has red accents.

Walking StickA2238

Walking stick of yellow cedar wood. Stick has three sections: 18 cm. of plain wood from the base; a central section carved in 3/4 round (as a totem pole); and an upper section (15 cm.) that is plain, expanding to a knob handle. The central section has a vertical series of sketchily-carved figures depicting a bird, an animal, a bird, a whale, and a figure (from top to bottom). The bird at the bottom has circular black eyes surrounded by a red area with black brows above, red and black ears, a red lined yellow beak, and two-feathered side wings that consist of a long black u form that has a yellow detailing with a yellow ovoid along the upper part. The upward crouching animal above has circular yellow eyes outlined by black and surrounded by a red tear drop shape, red dot ears within a black u form, a yellow dotted black face, an open red mouth showing sixteen plain teeth, and a yellow body with black limbs. The bird in the middle has circular yellow eyes outlined by black with black brows above, red and black ears, a yellow beak with a closed red mouth, and two-feathered side wings that consist of a black u form with a red and yellow dot within and a black semi-oval along the upper part. The downward facing whale has circular yellow eyes surrounded by a black oval and a green oval, red nostrils, an open red mouth showing sixteen plain teeth, a yellow dotted black back with a small dorsal fin, a red and black dotted plain body, and a face on the upward and downward curving tail. The figure at the top has circular black eyes surrounded by a green area with black brows above, black nostrils, a red mouth surrounded by a yellow area with a black chin, and a black body. The figure is holding a plain copper ? that has red and black face on the upper portion with a vertical red line at either side of the lower portion. The figure wears a two-tiered hat that has black u forms with red in between the plain split u within and a yellow dot at the top.

Brown wood rattle consisting of two rounded pieces put together, each with a semi-cylindrical handle, creating a full rounded oval rattle bound with brown string in an x-formation at the top and around the handle. Along either sides of each piece, there is a hole. Two face designs in green, red, and black (one on each side). One side has black circle in circle eyes surrounded by a green area in a black ovoid with black brows above that each have a red line on top with a pair of black leaf-like shapes in between. Below the eyes, there is a black outlined green dashed u form. Around the outer side of each eye and connecting across the bridge of the nose, there is a curving green line. The black nose has red dot nostrils. A pair of curving red lines with a green dotted line below is on each cheek. The downturned red mouth is outlined by black with a green moustache above. The other side has black circle in circle eyes surrounded by a green area in a black ovoid connected by three upward curving black lines with black brows above that each have a red line on top with a black v-shape in between. In between the brows and the eyes, there is a curving green line. A curving red line with a green one below is on each cheek. The black nose has red dot nostrils. The upturned red mouth is outlined by black.

Hardwood rattle with the top piece in the form of a raven that has a reclining figure on its back connected to a frog by a protruding tongue and the bottom piece in the shape of a rounded semi-oval emphasized by a bird's face with a recurved beak. Handle is bound with brown string with brass tubing also bound to the handle. Raven has black ovoid in ovoid eyes surrounded by a tapering oval and a green area. The nostrils are a black circle outlined by white on a black beak with an open red mouth and tongue. At either side of the neck, there are two black outlined u forms that have a pair of green, white, and red u forms within. The back is black with red wings that have three sets of downward angled diagonal red lines outlined by black with a white circle at the tip. The tail has an upward curving red ovoid outlined by black from which emanate four feathers that have a black u form that has a white rectangle within and separated by a vertical red line. The reclining human on top has its head resting on an inverted red bordered dark blue split u. The human has a red body and a black face with circular black eyes surrounded by a green area with black brows above and a black line around the mouth where the red tongue of the green frog connects. Connected to the back of the frog, there is a bird head that is part of the raven's upraised tail. The bird's black head has black eyes surrounded by a white area with a green beak. The bottom piece that is the belly of the raven has a face with black ovoid in ovoid eyes surrounded by a tapering oval and a green area with a curving red line above and a pair of inverted green u forms on top, a black beak nose, and an open red mouth showing four white teeth. Below, there is another pair of similar eyes with a red line underneath.

Raven RattleA6634

Rattle composed of two complementary parts in the form of raven: a raven figure comprises the main part of the rattle with a bird's face that has a recurved beak carved on the raven's stomach. A reclining figure on the raven's back is connected to a frog sitting on its chest by a protruding tongue, and a stylized bird's head is connected to the frog's back via its beak. The rattle is painted with red, black and green. Inscription: 'Village Island' pencilled on Raven's left wing.

Long, cylindrical, dark brown wood piece. One end has a horizontal ridge around it from which the wood flares outward, has a smaller bulging red section, and then comes to a conical point at the tip. The other end has a rounded red mushroom-like end. Painted in red and black. Very symmetrical shape.
