Lid: sides have a black/natural/green/orange/ green/natural/black; ribbon of black figures on yellow ground, outlined in red and flanked by series of red two-stitch lines; central circular motif is maroon/purple/natural/black. Base: plaited origin and plain twined weaving (over wide warp strands). Sides and lid are in twisted twined work.

An upward flaring cylindrical cedar bark basket that has a relatively square base. Has a plaited (checker work) weave with a braided border. Main design consists of six double horizontal rows of checkered black and natural.

Main basket design: repeated on either side is a geometric shape resembling lightning in yellow, red, green, and blue. Warp: cedar bark. Weft: natural and dyed swamp grass (coarser grass used on base).

Lid - side has same banding as lower rim of basket. Central strip of purple surrounded by purple rectangles with yellow centers. Base: plaited origin with plain twining over five warp strands. Sides: twisted twined work. Basket has slightly indented flange. Lid is twisted twined work.

Oval-shaped swamp grass basket (a) with flat, fitted lid (b). Lid: oval medallion design, concentric oval strips. Sides: long boats, with two sails and smoke stack with flag at back (in yellow, red, and purple). Colours: purple, blue, orange.
