Dark brown, open weave basket with strong vertical ribs, a circular top and a square bottom; four loop handles around the upper rim and a length of flat, braided rope crisscrossing around the sides.
A very long, narrow, woven mat. A pair of dark strands near the edge of each side provide decoration. Edges are finished by including a wide strip of cedar as the outermost strand and overcasting on a core of cedar.
Cone shaped basket. Open weave with four vertical ribs that are wrapped cross-wise on the outside and inside of the basket. Ribs are stitched to basket with two sets of evenly spaced looped stitches.
A thin flat woven basket that has a square shape with the bottom end fringed. The main design is consisting of three equally spaced sets of five horizontal bands of herring bone woven decoration. Diagonally plaited with openwork strips.
Elongated; oval in shape; open-weave; square at base, rounded at rim.
Cedar bark basket with no seams (sides have collapsed). Inside the basket were found fragmented strands of dentalium shell, blue beads, and bark (now grouped as part b); and a large quantity of loose dentalium shells and fragments (now grouped as part c).
Checker work weave basket. Sides and base are approximately the same weave with one twilled row separating them. Border is wrapped over splint and braided. Very poor condition; basket is collapsed and in pieces.
