Oval shaped openwork coiled cedar root basket. Parallel wood slat base construction. Walls of basket are made with two slats followed by an openwork area then two more slats, with two openwork areas overall. The rim is decorated with entwined loopwork. The slats are decorated with rows of beading in canary grass, red and black dyed cherry bark.

Small, round, coiled cedar root basket with overcast handle. Handle forks into two, on each side, above rim of basket. Braided trim is used to finish the rim of the basket on either side of the handles. Watch-spring coiled foundation and wood slat walls. Red cherry bark beading along top edge, and red cherry bark and white canary grass imbricated designs decorate basket.

Part (a); is decorated with alternating dark and red cherry bark with grass in center. Part b has a circular pattern of rows red cherry bark. Part c has four adjacent triangles of red cherry bark and grass. Part d has alternating red and black cherry bark triangles.
