Animal hide rolled and stitched with green thread with small flap of hide folded over at top. Quiver does not completely encase the ten ceremonial arrows it contains. Arrows have notched bamboo ends painted with red and blue bands or dots and the bamboo ends are fitted over blunt narrow wooden shafts and affixed with thread and glue. Some arrows have feathers bound to bamboo with thread.
One piece of bamboo with curved top end roughly shaped into an animal head with two long pointed ears extending to back and side. Head painted red with colour extending to first ring on shaft.
Mask roughly carved ovoid with dark brown painted surface. Painted facial features with spirals and flecks overall in a fluorescent paint. Eyes and mouth composed of horizontal pink line ringed by orange line with evenly spaced eyelash-like flecks of orange. Yellow concentric spirals on each cheek area and concentric spirals of green surrounded by pink on large chin area. Each spiral has some fleck design along outer edge, pink on chin and yellow on cheeks. Except for elongated squared nose descending from top of mask, facial features are not modelled. Yellow line with flecks extends down its length. Remaining mask area filled in with flecks of yellow, green, white, pink, and orange.
Mask of roughly carved ovoid in light coloured wood. Painted lines arranged in matching geometric design on cheek areas in green, orange, dark red and yellow. Circular holes for eyes are placed close together, ringed by orange line with flecks of yellow. Squared nose flares downward from brow. Horizontal slit for mouth is ringed by a green line with evenly spaced flecks of dark red. Large chin area has dots and lines in same pattern as design on cheeks. Green brows descend towards temples. Except for nose there is no modelling of facial features.
Cotton pants formed by two panels with crotch inset and a drawstring waist. The bottom of the pants have a cross-stitch decoration of three different horizontal bands alternating with a row of birds. First band has red, blue and yellow geometric design of triangles and diamonds separated by a zigzag line. On top are nine pink frontal birds with profile heads facing left, each bird has floral crown, an octagonal body and a triangular tail. Second band has stylized orange flowers, alternating directions, joined by an angular green line, dark blue line border at top and bottom; yellow profile birds above band has purple outline. Third band has a double row of blue flowers attached by blue stems to a yellow and red ribbon, flowers alternate with red double scrolls, green line border at top and base; purple frontal birds with heads facing to side on right are above band. Red cloth band at hem of each leg.
White shirt with embroidery. The shirt has a v-neck, long cuffed sleeves and open sides. On the upper front and back are feline motifs surrounded by a square geometric border in red, orange, yellow and blue on white ground. On the lower front and back are rooster motifs above a geometric border. The hem is edged with orange trim. On the sleeves are bird motifs and geometric borders. The cuffs are edged with blue and orange trim. The inside is unlined.
Form is of graduating in size, having seven 'steps' on each side. Front and back surfaces are flat. Mirror with metal edging and outlined with two and a half rows of black beads at centre front. Small burnt circles outline form. On front, two crossing diagonal lines above mirror, two semi-circular lines below mirror, and a triangle on the base. On back, central line with paired lines curving away on either side. Beads, some loose and others strung together, are pressed into beeswax to form decorations: red and yellow cross above mirror, red and yellow diagonal line below mirror, three black rows below mirror on right, yellow bordered by red on left of base, black and red cross at centre base, five circles down each side, and four circles down centre back. Pink and yellow yarn pulled through hole at centre top, knotted with ends hanging free. Two red and two yellow pompoms on cord wrapped below mirror.
Northwest Coast style humanoid face mask, painted white. Wide flat forehead has five stitches in a vertical row at right of centre; beaten copper brows are nailed above bulging circular hollow copper eyes, slightly indented at base, in black pointed ridged eyelid lines; straight nose has indented semi-circular red nostrils; open mouth has protruding red lip bands; two stitches in a diagonal line between nose and upper lip; black bands with three rows of dots extend from lower corners of eyes, curve on cheek to terminate at side rim; nails in some holes along upper rim. On reverse, cord is looped and knotted through a hole in each side rim, second piece of cord is looped and knotted through a hole in centre upper rim and around the first cord. Piece of folded cloth nailed above eyes; two nails at left of nose. Stitches and nails are to repair crack; paint flaking; copper on eye and brow on left have green areas.
Small roughly shaped guitar has rectangular head. Five pegs on underside extend through to top, with peg in each corner and at centre. Ends of three horsehair and two metal strings are wrapped around pegs, opposite ends are wrapped and tied around the bridge which is glued to the lower body. Four twisted palm fibre cords are wrapped and knotted around fingerboard. Fingerboard is glued and nailed to neck. Sound hole in centre of body. One strip of wood is bent to form sides, glued to top and bottom of body. Red and blue yarn looped and knotted around fingerboard next to head. Three pompoms attached to top centre of head by braided cord.
Loom (parts a-d) consisting of a partially completed brown and grey-white double-faced weaving on complete backstrap loom (part a). Intertwined in the weaving is a batten (parts b) and two lease sticks (parts c-d) that can be removed along with four shed rods and two heddle rods are tied to weaving. The long looping stitches attach weaving to front and back loom bars. Detailed are three horizontal rows of abstract geometric designs of beige diamonds, x’s and triangles on a brown ground. Part b is a wooden batten, trapezoidal in shape. Parts c-d are a smaller, thinner version of part b.
