Women’s outer coat, or parka, of brown caribou fur. The coat has a large elongated hood and very broad angular shoulders. The coat is waist length and has a long rectangular back tail and a small narrow rectangular front flap. The hemline, hood opening and front of sleeves are trimmed with white fur. On the forearms of the sleeves two white bands of fur are inserted. On the back two narrow triangular pieces of white fur and a tiny tuft of white fur are inserted. To the top of the back four caribou ears are attached with two white tassels of fur hanging from the ear tips. A paired tassel of white fur is attached to the right shoulder on the front. Paired narrow fringes are hanging from the back of the hood and along the hemline. The back of the coat is enlarged through the insertion of an extra piece of fur. To the rim of the hood a white label and a metal button are attached.
Pair of women’s outer leggings (part a-b) of caribou fur with the fur to the outside. The leggings have a close fit for the foot and ankle and expand like a funnel reaching above the knee at the back of the leg and tapering up on the front to form a thong that can be looped over the belt of the trousers. The top edge and the area above the ankle are decorated with alternating strips of white caribou fur and black and red dyed strips of dehaired skin. The feet are made of the legskins of the caribou.
Multi-coloured woman’s tunic that is lavishly embellished with panels and bands of embroidery on both the front and the back, incorporating several styles of stitching. The garment is very stiff and heavy. On the front, there is a large embroidered panel from shoulder to hip, and the upper edge of this panel extends over the shoulders to form a narrow yoke on the back. The embroidery on this panel is so elaborately detailed and so densely worked that none of the background textile is visible. Design elements in this embroidered panel include circular and diamond shaped motifs and many small mirrors. Below the densely embroidered panel on the front are three horizontal bands decorated with triangular motifs, rickrack, sequins and metallic braid embroidery. The back of the tunic has a centre-back neckline slit (37 cm). Pouches made of yellow and red textile which is embellished with an X made of black braid are sewn into the top of the neck edge on both sides of the neckline slit. The pouches contain small amounts of dried plant material. Below the back shoulder yoke are horizontal bands of navy blue and silver brocade. A panel of orange textile, embroidered with oval and square shapes, extends to the hem of the garment. The sides of the garment are formed from vertical strips of bright pink, green and gold satin textile. The bottoms of the elbow-length sleeves are finished with several rows of diamond-shaped motifs.
Long cylindrical wooden piece that has been shaved slightly inwards at one end. Other end is slightly rounded and entire surface has a smooth finish with well defined carving marks.
Rectangular, appliquéd wall hanging or canopy, featuring repeated motifs formed from pieces of grey, red, yellow and tan cotton textile which have been cut, the edges turned under and slip-stitched down onto an off-white cotton textile background. In the large central field, there are 28 identically shaped square motifs, measuring approximately 20 cm x 20 cm, with stylized floral centres, arranged in a multicoloured checkerboard pattern. Around the edges there is an appliquéd border of abstracted elephant motifs on all four sides, edged with two rows of red and grey sawtooth designs. Small loops of cotton string are spaced at the corners and at intervals along the edges.

Perimeter of fan is circular except for the lower edge where the handle is attached, which is straight and at right angles to handle. Fan is covered with lacquered paper on both sides, patterned with a design of four triangles radiating from centre. The top triangle is red, the one where the handle attaches is yellow, and the two at the sides are green. The area where the triangles meet is covered with a black circle enclosing an even cross. In each of the quadrants thus formed is a line going in from the edge of the circle parallel to one arm of the cross, then bending at a right angle and curving to follow the outline of the circle. The area surrounding the handle on one side is covered with a grey paper cut, and the area immediately surrounding the handle is painted orange. The fan inserted into a split in the handle, which is shaped like a pointed oval where it covers the fan, which is attached with two rivets.

Perimeter of fan is circular and scalloped except for the lower edge where the handle is attached, which is straight and at right angles to handle. Fan is covered with yellow lacquered paper on both sides. It is inserted into a split in the handle, which is flat and circular where it covers the fan, which is attached with two rivets.

Bamboo strips are bent downwards near the perimeter of fan, those on each side bending away from centre strip. Perimeter of fan is circular except for the lower edge where the handle is attached, which is straight and at right angles to handle. Fan is covered with pieces of floral-patterned silk, cut to form a design of three swirls converging at the centre, coloured purple, orange, and pale green on one side, and grey, very pale green, and pale orange on the other. It has a narrow edging of grey paper. The fan is inserted into a split in the handle, which is flat and lozenge-shaped where it covers the fan, which is attached with two rivets.

The shape of the handle is repeated with an outline of orange paint on the fan.
Gold-coloured satin jacket, or blouse. The centre opening has front panels that overlap to the right when tied closed with two long wide ribbon ties. The left outer facing is rounded at the lower edge, while the right is straight and projects beyond the front edge. The neck is finished with a narrow facing or collar of white cloth-covered paper. The long sleeves are set in with a straight seam and a convex curve on the lower edge, narrowing to the wrist. Thin white inner ties are sewn to the right inner facing and the left underarm seam. The inner lining is loosely woven off-white rayon.
