Two black wool textile panels, with dense gold embroidery shaped to form the tops and sides of a pair of shoes or slippers. There is a large floral motif centred on the top or toe section of each shoe form, and the panels that comprise the sides of the shoes are decorated with leaf and vine motifs. The embroidery is edged with narrow metallic cording. The black background textile has been trimmed from the edges of one embroidered panel, while the other is uncut.

Full sleeves finely pleated onto shoulder panels; sleeves have wide panels of black cut-out embroidery; tightened above the elbow with drawstrings. Strips of bright pink textile have been sewn behind the embroidery and show through the cut-outs. Very deep gussets under sleeves. Neckline is gathered onto a straight collarband. Opens all the way down the back. No provision for fastening.

Woman's very loose-fitting pants made of panels of beige rough-textured linen or hemp and striped cotton flannelette, from waist to knees, and of off-white waffle-weave cotton from the knee to the ankle. The two legs are joined together by a square of beige linen or hemp, positioned with two opposite corners at centre front and centre back. Drawstrings made of softly twisted strips of cotton fabric at the waist and ankles. Hand sewn.

Cream cotton woman’s blouse with embroidery. The blouse has a standing collar, keyhole neckline and long cuffed sleeves with vertical panels of puckered fabric. The collar, centre front opening and narrow cuffs are embroidered with counted cross stitch designs, multicoloured knotted edge stitching and brown scalloped edging. There are white plastic button and loop closures at the centre front opening and cuffs. There is a small, multicoloured embroidered medallion in counted cross stitch on the back of each sleeve, just above the elbow. Entirely hand-sewn. The inside is unlined.
