Woman’s unlined, untanned goat hide cape (raw hide on one side, and coarse, long, off-white, slightly wavy hair on the reverse side). The body of the cape is roughly U-shaped, with unfinished edges; on each side edge, the cape is pieced with small rectangular strips. The top edge of the cape is slightly curved, and a triangular flap of goat hide is attached at each upper corner. A length of brown braided cord connects the two flaps, and there is a piece of twisted brown and off-white wool fibre loosely looped over this cord. On the hide side, three narrow strips of hide are sewn to the top edge, with the hair side facing outward.

A string of one-hundred-and-ten beads on white cotton cord, one-hundred-and-four of which are spherical orange-brown seeds with a fine mottled surface that have faint striations. String forms a circle, at one side of which, there are three deep-carved beads of brown wood. At the opposite side, there are two identical beads to which are attached a smaller red-brown seed-bead with a spherical orange-brown seed, knotted on with the ends of the cord on which the beads are strung. Tied around the string of beads is braided white cotton cord, on which an amber ? bead is knotted. Cord is 4.4cm. long.

A light yellow pipe in two parts: a cylindrical bowl made of a segment of bamboo and a stem of narrow bamboo pierced through the centre. The stem is slotted into a hole halfway up the pipe bowl. Several strands of blue cotton thread are wrapped around the stem of the pipe and extend to the loop around the small wooden protrusion on the base of the bowl.

Brass-coloured tweezers made of two arms brazed together at one end and expanding to a broad flat set of jaws at the other. A broad disc of brass has been left on each arm approximately halfway down their width and decorated with incised designs or spots and swirls. A ring has been secured around the handle end.

Ginning machine, made of several types of hardwood; light to dark brown; frame (part a) with two interlocking, carved worm gears (parts c and d) turned by crank handle, secured in place with a peg to the gear, all held in place by two (parts e and f) blocks and one wedge (part g). The base is held upright by a hardwood support bar (part b), which is inserted in a hole in the base of the frame.

A fan of woven straw in twill weave, shaped like an inverted heart, with a tubular bamboo handle that has a split 10.8 cm. long to allow for the insertion of the fan. The handle is painted (?) with a mottled brown pattern, perforated near the butt end and held in place with a nail. The straw is purple, blue-green, and natural colours, woven in geometric design, finished with a band of braided straw sewn with unspun linen (?) thread around each side.

Cut-out repousse metal plaque with a hole at each top corner. Overall appearance of top half of a face with eyes represented by concentric circles, forehead, and a headdress with snakes descending on both sides. Near the centre of the headdress is a circle of cut-out triangles and other shapes (six total), and there are diagonal lines cut out from the edge. Gilded surface.

Cut-out, repousse, gilded square metal plaque with eight equidistant holes at edges. Same motif repeated on both halves: two heads, one up and one down, with plumes and one paw surrounded by bands with zig-zagged edges and rows of repousse dots at centre of bands.

Ceramic pot on 3 short (0.7cm.) legs, badly broken into 6 pieces, with additional piece, lid and tip of spout missing. Repaired with dark yellow glue. Squat spherical shape with spout affixed to one side and 2 triangular lugs, one above and behind spout and the other opposite. Pot has white body, and white lightly crackled glaze, painted underglaze with light blue/green around spout and lugs; dark blue on each side in pattern of y shapes enclosed by 2 vertical lines enclosing 3 x's. Same design incised on body. Rough blue line around top and bottom of pot, also incised. Glaze inside.
