Rectangular unmodified stone fragment with patches of red discoloration on the surface. Original catalogue description: "Rectanguloid piece of dark stone. Flat on one surface, concave on other as if used as whetstone(?)" Original catalogue remarks: "Edges rounded, possibly not artifact"
Bone is a fragment of a right mammal rib, with at least seven cut marks visible on the exterior surface, near the vertebrae. The bone has been painted with a clear substance and labelled "45KI53 1N27W 774" with black ink. Excavated by Montgomery on 6/29/80 and identified as a "worked bone--sharpened (rib?)" on 8/28/80. M. Bone fragment has been shaped into an uneven point, and possibly polished. The exterior surface shows at least six cut marks. The surface of the bone has been painted with white-out and the number "45KI53 4N27W 276" has been written on it in black ink. Excavated by J.N. Leavitt and Kipper on 6/28/80 and identified as a "toggle harpoon?-worked bone." M. Herkelrath 11/13/03

The surface of the bone has been painted with a clear substance and the number "45KI53 9N9W 112" has been written on it in black ink. Base has been cut at a beveled (bifaceted) diagonal with a short central groove as if it could be hafted on one side of inside curve." Original catalogue remarks: "plate VIII"
