Top point of the blade is attached to a metal shank that connects to a short, horizontal handle of grey-white antler (?). Blade has inscriptions on each side: one side lists maker of steel blade in Sheffield England, other side stamped 'Hudson's Bay Company Incorporated 2nd May 1670'.
