A rectangular mother-of-pearl bead with ten closely spaced holes along the entire length. The ends are slightly tapered and rounded.
Seven stone beads of mottled turquoise colours, strung on monofilament. Three are long cylindrical beads of varying diameters and finishes. Two beads are barrel-shaped and the larger--one is badly chipped. One bead, which is doughnut shaped, is drilled in two directions. The final bead has an irregular outline and has a large chip.
Ninety-three blue-green beads of various shapes strung on monofilament. Many beads are irregular and have been drilled more than once--several show signs they were cut from a stone that was drilled improperly.
Smoothly finished, rectangular bone balance with two sets of seven punctuated and recessed circles on both of the wide, flat sides. Traces of red pigment remain on one of the end circles. Each of the short, skinny ends has a hole drilled with fragments of fibre twine in them. One hole is drilled through the width of the bar in the very centre. The two other holes are symmetrically placed at the ends and run obliquely from one narrow edge to the adjacent narrow edge.
Two strands of disc-shaped shell beads that range in hue from orange to white. There are 1051 beads threaded on a handspun, white cotton yarn. The ends of the yarn are tied together forming a closed ring with one strand smaller than the other.
A hollowed wooden block with sixteen flattened, then curved, bicycle spokes of varying lengths laid parallel to each other and crossing an inset metal plate. The spokes are held in place across their flattened ends by a metal rod, whose ends have been pounded into the wooden block. The rod is secured by four metal loops spaced across its length and pinned into the block. A small metal rod projecting from the opposite end of the instrument holds twelve small metal rings.
Consists of two complete and four incomplete strands of brown herb root beads, clustered in groups of fives, separated by lengths of very small white, blue, red, green and yellow trade beads.

Into this is fitted a mid-section of carved wood which is pointed at both ends. A bamboo shaft (b) wrapped with sinew at both ends. The posterior end is notched. The anterior end forms a socket which fits over the lower point of the metal shaft.
