A fragment of the base with notches around the edges. Tan

Stone image head.* Weathered volcanic cobble (andesite?). Possibly a grooved maul or a net sinker. It has aa central pecked groove and battering on both ends. One end is pecked and this end has a central line pecked into it and two circular areas that were then drilled to resemble eyes (zoomorphic). Red pigment (ochre?) in pecked areas (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.

Box of partially worked stones. Locality: Columbia River near Ellsworth. Remarks: 1 traded to CMNH. Number of specimens: Ledger has 1 (48) written in pencil.* 1 bead also in box. The bead is broken in approximately in half perpendicular to the drilled hole. *Information comes from original accession ledger.

Pumice stone carving of an owl.* Effigy abrader -- human figure with six grooves along edge to create 2 arms, 2 legs, and a head. Two holes and a groove create eyes and a mouth. All grooves and holes contain traces of a red pigment (ochre?). Vesicular basalt. (6/95). *Information is from the original accession ledger.
